Food Storage Time Labels

Don't take risks with food storage times.  Paxar's "Use By" and "Best Before" labels will help you keep on the right side of the law!

A "Use By" food safety label must be used for items that are highly perishable.

"Best Before" food safety labels let you know the date up to and including when food remains at its best. It's used for food with a longer shelf life, which must show age related information.

REMEMBER—ALWAYS CHECK DATE MARKS

It is an offence to sell food after its "Use By" date, but food can still be sold after its "Best Before" date. By doing so the seller takes responsibility for the quality of the food.
